Obituary for Elizabeth DeAvilla (Macmaster)

DeAvilla, Elizabeth (Macmaster) of Revere, formerly of Everett, passed away on January 9, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Charles F. DeAvilla Sr.

Cherished daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Ann (Billingsley) Macmaster.

Loving mother of John DeAvilla Sr. of Revere, and his late wife Karen DeAvilla, Kathryn DeAvilla of Malden, Elizabeth Phillips of Lynn, Steven DeAvilla Sr. of Malden, Mary Allen of Lynn, Richard DeAvilla of Lowell, and Charles DeAvilla Jr.of Everett. Dear sister of Kathryn Williams of Tewksbury, Barbara Lee Brewer and her husband Thomas of Lynn, John David Glazebrooke and his wife Marcia of NH, Lawrence Glazebrooke and his wife Jane of Groveland, MA. Charles and Eddie Glazebrooke both of Lynn and the late June Mary Savage and Joseph Charles Macmaster. Adored grandmother of seventeen grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Elizabeth’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere on Wednesday, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and again Thursday morning at 9:00am for a service to be held in our chapel of the resurrection at 10:00am.Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
