Obituary for Carmen Charles Ciampa Jr.

Carmen Charles Ciampa Jr., 68 years of age, life-long resident of East Boston, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Cherished son of the late Emily (Inzirillo) and Carmen C. Ciampa Sr. Beloved husband of Elaine (Chianca) Ciampa. Loving father of Sherry Nardone and her husband John, Melissa Ciampa and her wife Shawnette Herd, Carmen Ciampa and his wife Lisa, and Tara Bowden and her husband Daniel. Adored grandfather of Shanell, Christopher, Alexis, Mikey, Gianna, Ashley, Arianna, Kai, Elissa, and Billy. Caring brother of Richard Ciampa and Frankie Ciampa and his wife Rhonda. Also survived by his beloved family relatives Renae Fagone, Kim Ciampa, and Sue Inzirillo and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Carmen was a Vietnam War Army Hero.

Family and friends will honor Carmen’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Sunday, July 9th from 2PM to 6PM and again at 8:30AM Monday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church in East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10AM. Interment to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
