Obituary for Michael S. Mondello

Michael S. Mondello, 59 years old, loving husband of Grace ( Ippolito) Mondello of Revere, passed away on June 24th after battling a long illness.

He was the beloved son of Theresa Valentine of Amesbury and her late husband Larry; John Mondello of Florida and wife Liane; Father of Michael and Kristen Mondello of Revere. Cherished brother of John Mondello and wife Marietta of New Hampshire and sister Stacey Travalgia of Saugus and husband Bill. Loving uncle to Anthony and Bianca Travalgia, and Cara Mondello. Michael leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and closest friends who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends will honor Michaels’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street REVERE on Wednesday, June 28 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. followed by a service to be held in our chapel of the resurrection at 7:30 P.M.

Michael was a member of the United States Marine Corps, and a member of Local Union 33 for many years. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, and truly enjoyed his time spent traveling with those closest to him.
