The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Bosco can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am so sorry to all of you for your loss of John. I was not in the states when he passed and sadden by this. So many good memories of being part of each others lives for many years. Just remember they leave us physically but will always remain alive in our hearts lives and in everything we do.

Condolence: John & I remained friends for over a half a century...saw each other on a daily basis from almost birth to teen age years...started our own business at 12 years old selling fire crackers...we'd hitch hike through Sumner Tunnel, to the north End and meet with the local gangster...Mendez , to buy our fire crackers...and often would go swimming at the Norh End pool...we almost had to give up our business when at the pool we were told to leave North End and never come back or we'd have our legs broken..so later when we saw Mendez to buy our fire crackers we told him we we are going out of business for fear of our lives cuz of punks at pool..Mendez not wanting to lose our $$$ told us in future "just say Mendez is your cousin"...it worked..the name was magic !!!....so from that they on we "owned" the North End !!!....what I will always remember about "BOSCO" was everyone loved him....always laughing & smiling !!!
